About Us

The Second Chance Program (SCP) is a non-profit outreach program facilitated by ex-offenders who succeeded in rebuilding their lives in the community through education, spiritual awakening, social networking, and hands-on experience in the work force.

Our Program

Our target audience are ex-offenders, incarcerated offenders who are released back into society.

The SCP has changed the lives of many individuals and hopes to be an inspiration to those who feel a second chance is not within their reach. Through hard work, dedication, commitment, and care the SCP reaches the core of many problems surrounding ex-offenders.

The SCP coordinates with services in the communities to help give ex-offenders a better chance at success.

The SCP provide a wide range of personal experience involving the pitfalls of the ex-offenders, prisons, drugs, education, social networking, employment readiness, and rebuilding trust.

Our Mission

Our mission is aimed to reduce the risk of repeated actions made by at ex-offenders. The SCP’s focus is to assist at ex-offenders in rebuilding their lives by improving attitudes and providing connections with community resources. The community programs and services provided to ex-offenders will address the need for appropriate resources, and Therapeutic interventions in an effort to ensure safety and productivity in their communities.

Meet the Executives

Earl Spence

CEO

Earl is a masters-level counselor with 20 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse. Earl is an ex-offender who has a life long commitment to giving back to the community. Earl's philosophy is "If you can visualize success, you can attain it".
